I choose to believe the Belizean officials that are now in charge. Excuse me Roger but the only report about any of this stuff about the Belizean official that I have seen, about one Dickie Bradley or even about Minister Fonseca, is from Kevinl on his Top Dog site. It seems that the only person you are choosing to believe is KevinL, the source of this story. With all due respect to KevinL, I consider that unsubstantiated. There has not as yet been any retraction there. There is no report in the media as yet there either. When something more appears there in the press or from the government, then I would say there is some corroboration to the report he made. Until then, you are weighing the Government Press Release, the Alert from the Central Bank to the US Comptroller of the Currency, the report to the New York Department of Banking, and at least four other different reports carried in the press down there. I think it only prudent to remain skeptical of KevinL's characterization of the situation there until it is officially clarified. I haven't checked those sites today, so I'll check the sites again later and see what there is.
