I'm lost, Mary. Are you addressing me or Scott?

The last 15 minutes of the day shows a rise in the Cash from 15.74 to as high as 18.02 before closing at 17.06 so that would account for the rise in TICK, I would think. The sells predicted for the end of the day did not do much, it seems, in terms of the Futures. They closed a bit higher at 4:15 than they were when Cash closed at 4.

But your supposition per short-covering has merit, in my opinion. Many are reluctant to hold a position overnight and so that could have accounted for the late, although minor, rally that would have resulted in a rebound in TICK. I don't have that program up as of this moment and can't judge it. The machine that I keep up all night does not track TICK on an intraday basis.

<I have trouble understanding the PREM >

What trouble is that?
