Looks like another interesting day

Sure blew it not going short yesterday on the continuation signal -- would have had my 40 points this am, most likely--but such is life.

Agree that we could end the day with some upward bias -- remember Greenspan and Rubin are both doing their thing today and I suspect they'll have some soothing words to offer--not that it will make a whole lot of difference beyond the short-term. Waiting for Abby JC, now that the IPO is dead, to finally make some cautionary remarks, which should provide some selling impetus.

Just checked out my brokerage account balance and yesterday turned out to be a better day than my eye balling suggested. Now if I could do this every day.......

Am actually toying around with the idea of dipping my beak on the long side of a couple of equities that have got beaten down to a point where I think there is value--investment positions. After gross over-valuations that existed some of the mid-caps are actually undervalued but given the market enviroment, could of course get even more undervalued.

Will look to close out some of the short calls--the 535s and 525s this am into weakness and then re-short lower strikes as and when we get a rally of sorts.

I am feeling a lot better at the moment--hopefully it will last through the day. I am going to head out in a couple of minutes and take a walk--back before the market opens.

Talk to you guys later
