Jdcpa, it is good of you to take the time to talk to John Schmitz. But it is a shame that he can't make these statements on the record. Instead he relies on off the record conversations over the phone. It is not responsible to not be on the record for these many issues that they have apparently misrepresented relative to the Belize situation. There is still no knowledge of what the relationship to Alpha National Building Society is in Belize, other than Affordable Housing Group Ltd says that they are a major stock holder. This makes it quite unclear that AHG and/or PRWT are going to directly see any benefit to the loan business written there. ANBS curiously is organized under the Building Societies Act as opposed to Affordable Housing that is organized under the Companies Act. I am unsure that this confers the ability to give mortgages. It would be interesting to know when ANBS was actually incorporated there and just what stake Affordable Housing has in them. Particularly in light of Joe Sanker's reported comment that they were building these two pilot homes there to see how it worked out.
