let me begin by authenticating myself, for those of you who do not know me...anytime somebody has something to report here, there seems to be the need to prove that you arent trying to sell something to somebody, so i want you to know exactly who i am, and what i have to say, in detail...
my name is donald b. mcarthur...i live in hatteras, north carolina...i own a charter boat....my telephone number is 252 995 6115...i have no hidden agenda...i am just a little guy, trying to make a living, and hopefully get my retirement going with an investment...i am a 51 year old grandfather...
there is nothing profitable for me to mislead anybody...i think some of you will already vouch for the way i think...
if anybody feels the need to nitpick what i am going to tell you about, let me say this....i took notes as fast, and as accurately as i could....being as polite as i could and not rudely interrupting too many times...i am not a business man...i am a fisherman...if every little detail is not entirely accurate, at least the spirit of this report is as accurate as i can give it...so if anybody wishes to pick it apart, have fun...
i just got off the telephone with mr. john schmitz (sp)....i called him at 516 232 2221, and a receptionist answered the telephone...i asked to speak with john...she asked me who i was....i gave her my name....she asked me who did i represent...i told her me....she asked me if i was a shareholder...i told her yes, i have almost a quarter of a million shares...she told me he was on the phone, did i wish to wait, or did i wish for him to return my call...i asked to wait on him...the time of my call was 10:58....after one minute, or so, she returned to the phone and asked that he call me back because she didnt know how long he might be on the phone, and i guess she didnt want to tie up the fone for very long....reasonable enough, so i thanked her, gave her my telephone number, and hung up...
at 11:02, mr schmitz called back, and we spoke, very pleasantly, until 11:09....i cannot verify the actual identity of the man on the other end of the phone, but he identified himself as john schmitz....i do not know the mans voice from any of yours....i called him mr. schmitz, he told me everybody calls him john...ok...
if necessary, i will provide a copy of my telephone bill, next month...and panamerican can probably do the same...this is to satisfy the doubting thomas's among us...
i explained to him that there was much discussion, and disagreement on the message boards...he said he does not read them...doesnt have time...
i told him about the neverending request for a public announcement, and asked him when might there be official word from the company...he said probably next week, or very soon thereafter...
i asked him the same thing i asked you this morning....what is the backbone of this company...he said that each division sees themselves as the best part...they are all competing against each other to to the best...each division wants to be the biggest part...
if i were head of one of these divisions, i would want to be the best part...
i told him that there is a tremendous amount of discussion and arguing about belize...he said he knows it, and he is working on it as best as he can....
i asked him to please explain to me what is going on, and about the actual position there....and i am pretty sure i have this correct, because i interrupted him several times as i tried to take notes accurately....
panamerican is registered as a company in belize and is recognized by the rules through the central bank and the attorney general...
panamerican complies with regulations to provide mortgages and to put houses up.
john has spent in excess of one quarter (1/4) of a million dollars working on belize and is planning to go ahead with it...
he spoke with the heads of the present government for a few minutes when he was there, and hopes to meet with them again at the end of this month...
alpha national building society (society ?), will write mortgages...
panamerican is going to fund the mortgages...
dickie bradley and norman neal are partners...norman neal is panamaricans attorney in belize...
as i said earlier....if you need to question every word of this, go ahead, but i stand by it, as what the man said to me, or at least as i understood it....i have done the best i can do....11:43 ayem post
