I'm aware of the move to optics. We discussed that before on the board a long time ago. I think this won't pose a threat to the networkers for a long time yet (with all due respects to George Gilder). But I'm not the best person to address this question. Suggest you ask this question on the Cisco board, and see what kind of responses you get. Paul
