Fred, I thought of you this weekend and your parabolic -- when I was reading this book by Jake Bernstein where he interviewed some great futures traders. Just about everyone of them uses mechanical systems--and they all say that the toughest thing that they find is to stay with every signal when the system seems to have stopped working---and when they mastered that -- they began to do a whole lot better. Other things too--risk management, emotions, etc. The XAU is not doing a thing today--what does your father say about that??
