S'Funny the way you and I differ in terms of Risk.

For me, I would have to leg into selling calls; for example buying the 520s when the market is down waiting for the opportunity to sell the 495s when the market is up; vice versa for the puts.

Thanks for the reminder on the sprinkler system; my guys should have been here by now, I have to call.

The frost line around you could not extend more than about 24, 27 inches underground. Perhaps even 18". But that's enough. You have to shut off the water and use compressed air to blow out the pipes. I don't bother. It's perhaps 20 or 40 dollars to have someone do it and they guarantee it.

Other than that, in your area it consists of changing from screens to storm windows and stuff like that. Not much else unless you have A/C mounted in windows. Then the cars have to be checked out. Cleaning anything that has to be switched around. Winterizing the Central Air to ensure no bacteria grows over the Winter (getting you ill during the following late Spring). Sealing the driveway every 3 or 4 years. Checking out Snow Throwing stuff or contracting with someone to plow for you. Cleaning out the garden, the attic, the cellar. A few other things. Should take a few hours. Good luck.

Oh yes, have a plumber check the boiler or whatever you use to heat the house. Better off spending 40 bucks on that now instead of a few hundred during the coldest snap of the season.
