The common sense understanding of my assertion is that the market for Xeon based home PC's IS AND ALWAYS WILL BE INSIGNIFICANT. Furthermore, anyone who does purchase such a PC is (IMHO) an idiot, because they are paying up significantly for a negligible performance increase (especially on most home-use applications). Buying a Xeon-based home PC over a PII-450 is NOT like buying a Porche instead of a Volvo, because the Porsche actually offers two things the Xeon does not: a significant increase in performance and in prestige.
