On PVN--a negative close on high volume and it would be a cinch

Re the Oct OEX, we both blew it on the calls that we are long that were way out of the money. Monday was the day--on Monday, I could have sold short the 505s for about 4 and spread it against the ones that I was long -- and did not do it -- am kicking myself for that. Then if the futures had broken through the 1020 level, I could have just closed it out if I did not want to be exposed.
