<Re Pat--probably just as well that he was away--it was one of those days when one could have gone short>

I have not looked at everything....I only returned probably less than a half hour ago....overtired I guess.

But I did look at one thing, there was a buy signal generated on my intermediate term stuff about 12:30 EST on Wednesday at 1010 SP8Z. Also, I respect McMillan during expiration.....going into that final hour the OEX was right where he said Buy Programs would have a tendency to kick in.

So, without looking at anything else as yet, I would like to think I would have been long or at least no worse than flat.

But who knows, anything is possible. Further, I have not looked at shorter term stuff yet...it's more complex....and it's quite possible that work would have led me to believe a scalp opportunity was there on the short side.

Fact of the matter is though, less than 10 minutes after David told me I could not stop laughing about it. I even started building a case to some of the others why an excellent short had to be coming down the pike. I guess I'm a perennial opportunist.
