Visual Telephone International to Showcase its New
Products at TeleCon XVIII

PR Newswire - October 26, 1998 16:16

SOUTH HACKENSACK, N.J., Oct. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Building on three years of successful
experience in pioneering Desktop Video Telephone (DVT) systems, Visual Telephone International,
Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: VTPI) introduces the newly revised Visual-EZII(R) Operating System
with advanced graphics, collaboration and whiteboarding features. Visual Telephone will be
demonstrating the new operating system and selected models of the enhanced Visual product series
at the TeleCon XVIII in Anaheim, California, October 26 through 28, 1998.

The introduction of these products is significant as they provide the most powerful, robust graphics,
and collaboration front end in the industry today. The new 32 bit operating system is capable of
providing collaborative capability using any software package, be it productivity, simulation,
education, gaming or other applications that run on a Windows 95/98 operating system platform
today. The Visual-EZII(R) platform is fully compliant with ITU/TSS H.320, T.120 and H.243
standards, providing H.261 full CIF video teleconferencing standards. The platforms were recently
upgraded to AMD K6 266 MHz CPUs with 32x CD ROMs and 32 Meg of main memory. Most
significantly, selected Visual products were the first to comply with the new Federal VTC-1
compliance requirement, the new standard for desktop video conference systems for Federal
agencies, to assure compatibility and high performance collaboration capability.

At the TeleCon Show, Visual Telephone will demonstrate its new low cost Visual 100, targeted at
schools and SOHO applications, and the new Visual-1000A system providing the base platform for
its standard line of products.

Visual-EZII(R) features "Point, Click, Hello" simplicity and extended collaboration performance with
operating and graphic system software for SUPERIOR "video presence" and seamless graphics
collaboration.
