A short for a day trade in the 76-78 area looks attractive for now Re systems -- yes only half the trades on my system are winners though the $win/loss ratio is decidedly in favor of the winners. I guess I have never really been bothered about the % losers, as long as I make a decent amount of money overall. During the August/September period the system broke down and took a couple of the largest hits that I have ever had. One could say that the character of the market had changed -- and it clearly had -- with those huge gaps up and down -- but adapting a system to deal with that, I think is difficult and may be futile. Right now, the market is behaving more like the way that it normally does -- in fact the normalcy appeared shortly before the Greenspan rate cut -- just after that reversal day we had.
