Perhaps a little -- but that is one of the advantages of a mechanical system, in that one takes the signals and hopes for the best and if the system is half way decent, it will make money in the long run. Nonetheless, there is obviously some comfort in taking a position and seeing it go ones way right from the start.

Something to be said for that if the results are usually consistent. <<

I don't know how GZ's system works but from the little I know of it, mine is a much shorter term system -- it is rare for me to be in a trade for more than a month -- GZ says that he is sometimes in a trade for months.

There is something comforting about being in a trade in the same direction as others who have a decent track record. I remember in days gone by Nemer, Kevin and I would get signals in the same direction at almost the same time and that made one feel better for a bit. Now Nemer's system used to switch in the blink of an eye and Kevin's was also fairly short term compared to mine. I think several individuals on the TSO thread used to jump on board when we had our signals synchronize this way.
