<SI access is driving me nuts >

I occasionally drop in to the Welcome to Silicon Investor thread and some think it's somehow no one's fault.

When I read that I sympathized with the "Women are from Venus, Men are from Mars" stuff.

I have a zillion dollars in Cable modems, Computers, I can go to two phone line ISPs and get even slower results....

What do I have to do, Tom? You are having problems, I'm having problems, some guy in Paris, Texas is having problems and somehow .... someway .... this is a global goof that just happens and I'm supposed to "ping" to find out the problem and (get this one) it's my cable company's fault because some guy has a porn site and it's tying up my cable modem.

I actually read that on the Welcome to SI thread.

I'm not sure this person is kidding.

Well be that as it may it's fortunate it is not as pervasive as it was today as a rule. But when it does hit it is no excuse for us not to quit. For my own part I gave up and went to play cards while my son tried to figure out what was the problem.

Anyhow, I still do not have a posture on the market and won't until Friday. Have a good evening.
