I think you are right short term (remember, short term to me is about 12 months.) Longer term, I see that the decrease in memory production is coinciding with increased demand. Thus, as usual, the pendulum swings too far and quite quickly you have a supply shortage. Memory, and other componants, start to climb in price quickly, and manufactuers start to ramp up as fast as possible. Somewhere in this process, wafers will become in demand, or at worse their price stabalizes and they may actually make some money. But I'm an optimist.

I am going to wait until next year after the Christmas demand is taken into account before adding to my position. But I certainly don't want to miss the rights offering if it looks good.
