Maxer,

Are you talking stocks or options. I have already bought stocks on the long side, but since I mainly post on threads which are focused for the short-term, I keep my comments tuned into the ripples.

The dip may have started today. Keep in mind that we closed 60 points off the highs. Frankly, I think that Monday will still be up, at least intraday and a small dipping process thereafter till the end of the week. It could just be in a form of flatness for 2-4 days, that could be the pullback. If it is relatively flat then the next upswing should be strong to the upside.

The other possibility is that we stay in this STAIRSTEP (8300-8700), or the STAIRSTEP moves up/expandss slightly until the FOMC meeting at which time more direction will be given to the market.

The chance of any big selloff prior to the FOMC meeting is very slim.
