i just got off the telephone with panam 516 232 2221...i had a very nice chat with "merv"...(sp)...he is the president of the panam interactive...telephone computers stuff...
i explained to him so that he understood that i was not calling to demand anything, or to tell them how to run their business, but that i did have some concerns and would like to speak with someone about them...he informed me that george, gus, and john were not there, but that george was who is normally handling these telephone calls...i explained to him that some of us had spoken to george in the past, and though he seems cordial, he seems to be, for the most part, uninformed...merv said that he understood...george being new and all...and he asked me if he might be able to help me...i thought that was kinda nice...he could have blown me off with some kind of hogwash, but he didnt...
anyway, after he was confident that he and i are on the same side, and that my purpose was not to harrass him, he was very receptive to discussion....i explained to him that yesterday was the grand opening of the long island i.t. office...he said...well actually it was not a grand opening, but an "open house", as he put it...he said that office would be open for business in another five or six days....
anyway, i offered the opinion to him that it seemed to many of us that today would have been a wonderful opportunity to give us, as well as the public, some exposure, and i could not for the life of me understand why it had not come out...he said that there are reasons that just have to be understood...i said to him that we sometimes wonder if they recognize that we have some very serious questions that need to be addressed, and that it seems that a little bit of positive reinforcement should not be too much to ask for...for instance, i said, no matter where you look, you see purewater sciences, never panamerican...i said that even when i call my broker, ameritrade, to make a purchase, when i tell them prwt - panamerican, they say, dont you mean purewater sciences...i told him that it seems that we dont own anything, that panamerican does not even exist...
he said that he understands, and that these things are being addressed, and will be finalized shortly...he told me that the paperwork for the changes have been applied for, but have not been forthcoming as yet...
i asked him to please speak with me about the financials...he said he expects the financial report to be out in january, thusly taking into account the quarter we are now in...i believe that is the fourth qtr...
he told me that his division, video phones, will not be making any kind of a press release until sometime in january...
he brought up the issue of press again, without further prodding from myself....he said that they realize the need....they will be issued at the appropriate times...
now...that is the report...here is my opinion...
i did not think this man was lying to me, or attempting to sidestep anything i asked to speak with him about, at any time...i believe he spent as much time with me as i requested of him, in a most humble and sincere manner of cooperation and understanding...his overall reiteration is that please to be patient, and they are doing their utmost to set things in correct order, and that we will have satisfaction as they can give it to us...
oh, i almost forgot, i suggested that might "they" at least write a letter to the shareholders, explaining things as they presently are, so as to offer some kind of acknowledgement and reinforcement....his answer was with genuine exclamation...you know that is a great idea...ill speak with john about it...i suggested that he might place something of this order on our web page...john might not think it is such a great idea, but this man at least said he will bring it up to him...
yeh...i know what "you" are going to say...i know there is nothing concrete here...so...take it for what it is worth to you...save your breath...im satisfied, for the moment...at least im trying to do something positive...all you are doing is running your black hearted mouth...
