Minnesota Life Deploys Be There!(TM)
Remote Access System
SAN ANTONIO, Nov. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- DATA RACE, Inc. (Nasdaq: RACE - news) announced
today that Minnesota Life Insurance Company, formerly Minnesota Mutual Life Insurance, has
implemented Be There! as a component of their remote access solution. Minnesota Life found that the
Be There! system uniquely affords road warriors and telecommuters a higher level of productivity
when away from the office.
Be There! provides a comprehensive solution by giving simultaneous access to corporate voice and
data systems. Remote workers make phone calls, send and receive faxes and email, and access the
internet -- all through a standard analog phone line. Be There! also seamlessly forwards phone calls
from an office extension to the worker's remote location. This Telepresence(TM) not only gives the
employee access to corporate resources, but also gives callers the impression that the telecommuter is
in the office.
