Bill,

I've been doing a little back testing of how AIM would have done
on my top holdings. Unfortunately, I couldn't do CCI which is my
largest holding since Yahoo! hasn't figured out how to deal with
the merger with TRV.

Anyway I did a little study where I selected the top 10 holdings
that I own (exception CCI) and ran them thru the AIM system for a
period of two years. Here is the results for a $10,000 investment
in each stock with a 25% initial cash level, 10% on the BUY SAFE
and SELL SAFE.

AIM Buy and Hold
----------------------------
MRK 15,507 18,619
MO 15,055 17,807
ELN 18,092 24,717
MCD 13,305 14,649
CMB 14,112 14,249
PMCS 23,549 34,595
SAI 18,855 27,087
CAG 12,180 12,350
ASND 16,810 6,872 <- considerable margin used to make this gain

All in all AIM did relatively poorly until you think about the 25%
cash cushion it typically holds. Then the water becomes a bit more
cloudy.

No Vealies were used in this calculation. ;-)

Dave
