Morning GZ

Re the bonds, as you know I mentioned previously that I use the same system for the stock indexes, bonds and currencies -- and so I am in the market almost all the time using a reversal system. So when I go long or short any of the instruments it has less to do with whether I feel that the markets are headed higher or lower and entirely to do with whether the signals tell me to go short or long.

Re your system, is the only parameter that you use to do with the cumulative 25 day advance/decline or other factors involved in your decision? Also, do you go short when the number turns negative and long when it turns positive or does it have to go up or down by a pre-determined number or percentage? Finally, when did your system turn down before the July decline commenced?

Re the stock market, I am inclined to agree with you that we should have at least one more rally which may take it to new highs and then depending on the momentum of that move, we may have another rally of sorts. The momentum during this move was way too strong for it to just turn down in any kind of significant way.

Regards
