This SI access problem is ridiculous and what is even more frustrating is that the powers that be seem to be either oblivious of it or believe that it is very isolated -- though I see various people complain about it.

The greatest open interest on the calls and puts on the OEX is at strike 560 which causes me to feel that unless things change drastically by tomorrow it may come down enough if only to scare the longs to close the positions out. But I don't think that there is a reliable trend as to how these things work out -- at least on a consistent basis.
