Bret, Although I too believe a MS splitup will be worth more than it currently is, I think your reasoning is flawed. If MS is broken up, MS will no longer ba able to strongarm its office suite onto OEM machines. So the Corels and Lotuses of the world might be able to make some inroads. Unfortunately, I cannot add any reasoning to back up my belief. I guess that's one area of my life I have strong faith. :) Regarding Java, don't be so sure MS has compliant software ready to go. They've been slow to reply before, when they have had their assumptions toppled. Tim
