I don't know how much I can add to what Fred already posted. I think you can just buy any size 30 year government treasury you want from your broker, I really don't know, I never went that route. Each bond futures contract represents a $100K treasury contract, I believe the Mid-America Exchange also trades minibond futures and is half the value.

Please post what you find out, maybe others might be interested.
