OK - in regards to your list - what I am looking for is companies that can steadily grow better than the S&P 500 with a minimum of risk and a minimum of dramatic price swings. Also, I like tech stocks because I can understand them better then I can understand most other markets.

SO, looking over your list, some things caught my eye. AKLM - the game software company? Wow - that strikes me as a risky play - good products though. And COMS - 3COM - what do you think they have to offer that CSCO doesn't (in terms of growth prospects)? NOVL - that one I agree with, nice pick. ORCL - hmmm, if they really focus on their core business again that could be a good pick. But Ellison seems to have a way of getting preoccupied with other things...Your other picks I don't know too much about. I'm going to have to look at them closely. Nice job putting this list together. Thanks for the info.
