Hi GZ, Having just started observing (thanks to your recommendation)I'm most impressed with the upper tine predicting the so far top in price. Is there a past post or book reference to the drawing of the forks perpendicular base or how the slope of the tines is established.I'm sure this question is redundant - but am hoping to save some time in searching and utilize it better towards trying to understand the construction techniques of drawing the fork.

I have always watched the reversal of macd and stochastics as a lagging indicator to price tops. The use of a pitchfork might be a predictor of price confirmed by a reversal of other analysis tools.
Could it be that a fork with some degree of reliability is a leading indicator of price that is confirmed by other variables?

Nothing is for ever but Holy Rosetta Stone Batman. This first observation has got my attention and I'd like to learn more! VLG

Bob
