I'm out again today. I think they sell me software just to find the bugs. This Investor R/T on the Mac has a method of tracking the same symbol, one on RTH and one for 24 hours on Globex, for example. So if you wanted to track IBM, say, on the NYSE as well as composite you have two symbols. So a technique I picked up involves checking points on Globex and I added the SP8Z and SP9H for the Globex section of the day. Lost every bit of historical data, intraday and daily. Isn't that a hoot? I would be more ticked except I'm downloading a PC Quote program. There's a thrill a minute. Really makes you think about how good Cable Modems are. It's a 5.2 Meg file. After about 15 minutes I have 1.64 Megs down using a plain-jane ISP. Using the Mac's Cable Modem for yuks it all downloaded in less than 3 minutes. Anyway, come hell or high water I think at the moment the proper trade is still to be long from near the Open straight through to the Close on Friday. I don't recall, but I think Friday closes at 1 EST.
