Brian, You are right about SPX breaking through its upper tine on 11/23. FWIW, I just posted an equivalent SPX fork chart at my site... check it out. The recent forks for most stock averages look similar... it seems that lately the fork has responded very well to the S&P futures in particular. On the SPX fork chart.... the middle tine is at about 1103-1104 for tomorrow; rising at a rate of about 3-4 points a day. The lower tine is at around 1021 for tomorrow; also rising at a rate of 3-4 points a day. >but I understand the center line is more of a turning point - correct? Yea... sort of, the center line/tine (a.k.a. median line) is the primary line from which the other parallels are drawn. The other parallels can prove to be turning points as well; however, those are equidistant from the PRIMARY median line... which I guess could be thought of as the main trend line of sorts. I hope this helps, talk to you later Regards, Frank
