'NYSE trades often get "price improvements", where I get the buy price at the bid!!! I don't know how they do it but every time I get the order confirmation with one, I shake my head!!!

I have noticed it too,I think if the buy order is for a NYSE listed stock they shop for the best price on behalf of the customer even on market orders by going outside NYSE like other regional exchanges if the stock is listed there.Isn't that something!!!

I have never used anybody else and don't intend to.
