Downloading the manual helps, but by just looking at the screen shots, you can get a feel for what SCANSHIFT is about. Your colors on your end are off regarding the days; just click on a day the market is open to look at the 30 minute screen shots. If you aggressively trade S&P 500 futures, the concept of always having a feel for where the current's day's range is relative to a normal day's range, where the last is relative to the high and low for the session, gives you an understanding of where the continued range extension will happen during the balance of the session. As of now, the only way to have SCANSHIFT realtime is on TS, although some deals are in the works to have it integrated into some other quote platforms. Again, I invented SCANSHIFT to give traders who watch quote screens all day an alternative to the "monitor" type page they look at now of rows and columns.
