Anyone see the piece on CNN/Fortune about PSFT last night? I had mixed feelings- while I like the fact that they have a congenial work environment, and I loved the fact that he was slamming Oracle right, left and center, quite frankly, they looked like a bunch of Yahoos. Jumping rope? Playing air hockey? There were more pictures of people goofing off than in real offices. Anyway, DD came across as a pretty good guy. Liked to see his office being the same as everyone elses and I liked to see him stealing coffee from the cafeteria. His comment "If you are not having fun, the quit and...and go work for Oracle...where you'll really have no fun" was a keeper. Otherwise, from the looks for the office environment, it probably answers a lot of questions why they are not growing at the same rate- I thought it made them look fat and happy.
