Hi, Mr. K! What's your thoughts of allowing SS to be invested in the stock market? Historically the market has given double digit returns with large cap stocks so no need to start looking at small caps. Mutual funds could be a consideration. I know it opens the doors for which funds, who decides, would they be allowed to donate soft money to get on the list or do you do things like 401Ks in that each state would decide which fund groups to use. The next can of worms will be those that want to socially screen! This could get deep!
