Re position trading vs day trading

Basically it is a question of what one is comfortable with -- and that in turn has to do with how it has worked out in the past when using both approaches

It does not bother me a bit to position trade and not even watch the market -- I place my stops shortly after the market opens and that is it for the day. Day trading, from a stand-point of comfort level, is the same though I can't say that I've been that successful at it -- but that may be because it is a new game for me.

My position trading is no where near as long term oriented as that of GZ. For example with the bonds, I went long again today taking a loss of 1/4 point on the short side -- but these sort of back and forth moves generally precedes a big move -- so I just keep taking the signals until it happens.

Today was an interesting day -- you, Scott and Donald are all looking for this to go higher and I hope that you are right. I was a little taken aback by the extent of the sell-off in the futures today -- though I am still long. Interesting that OJ's P&F and GZ's system are both showing signs that this rally is getting a bit frayed -- so may be we are close to a top of sorts.
