Tom,
We took the inside passage cruise in Alaska about three years ago, I felt like I was inside a living postcard, it was incredible. At night, when it did get dark around 11 p.m., the fog was so thick I couldn't see my hand in front of me. We did some mountain biking around Pike's peak in the Yukon, as well as visited some other great sights. I liked Skagway the best.
On my sell, the number is barely negative, around minus 20 or so. Hardly a convincing signal since there is some degree of error among the reported advance/decline figures from different sources. If we finished 500 or 800 in the minus today, that would have been a considerable negative sum and no discretion would have been needed.
I'm only explaining myself because I never really articulated how the entry or exit is done, nor have I really thought about it much, I just do it. I guess there is some discretion now that I actually think about it.
I entered the long position before the numbers turned positive because we touched a lower tine of the fork in October. I entered the second position when the numbers turned positive.
Recently, it did touch the upper tine, but the a/d was too positive to take a sell that day. We'll see what happens tomorrow. It really is easier to do than to verbalize. It's like trying to explain to someone how I walk, it ain't easy, walking is the easy part, explaining how to do it is something else.
Have a good evening.
