I have argued against Richard Ney before. And now I have found a thread devoted to his philosophy. Subject 17753 I started out pulling a couple quotes for our entertainment. But what develops is truly a sad story. Maybe the thread could make for a sobering read on a rainy day. A few excerpts from the thread beginning: Ney is the near perfect market timer and I use his theory exclusively. The pace that stocks appreciate are not and should not be associate with the growth or so-called PE ratio. Message 2963959 I'm trying to follow: Thats the reason I can care less about those technical analysis. You cant put technical analysis on something that is human-controlled. Ney's charting techniques, however, also conform to the technical analysis. I dont completely rely on those charts. The charts that I pay the most attention to are the intraday charts. You can almost know the direction of the market by the action on the Dow. You can also tell a lot about YOUR STOCKS using intraday charts.
