An American doctor was doing an experiment on grass hoppers and their jumping abilities. on the first day the doctor instructs the grasshopperto jump a number of times documenting the distances. on the second day the doctor cuts off one of the grasshopper's legs and has the grasshopper jump again documenting the distances. on the third, fourth days the doctor cuts off a leg and as before documents the grasshoppers jumping distance. on the fifth day the doctor severs the last leg and instructs the grasshopper to jump, repeatedly he shout to the grasshopper to jump, no response. in her asseeement of the grasshopeer and it jumping abilities, she comcluded when the all four of the grasshopper's legs are cut off it loses it hearing.
