Steve, I'm the least suitable person to explain TA on this thread, my TA knowledge being at the elementary level. TA people considered real breakouts in price to be one that is supported/verified by high volume (higher than average), supported by other indicators (such as RSI, BB, MAs etc.) WCOM broke out convincingly from its old high of $57 7/8 some time ago and had re-tested that break-out price (may re-test again). From my non-TA layman's perspective, I take it to mean that daily new highs supported by decent volume means that more people are willing to pay a higher price for the stock, that more stock are accumulated at a higher level. This is bullish. I think WCOM has very good support at $57/$58. If it breaks down, then something is wrong either with the market or with WCOM.
