I am curious why no one (other than myself) has considered that there may be short selling by restricted holders. It seems a common enough practice among some of these off-shore restricted sales. Sell at a discount in a private placement (because they are restricted) and then the buyer turns around and shorts the stock as quickly as they can to lock in a profit. The same tactic can be used by domestic insiders if they already hold restricted shares and they see a sure bad news event coming. They can pledge the restricted shares as collateral and have it shorted. There really is no risk for the shorter, especially if they know bad news is a coming. In PRWT's case reporting financials may be news possibly bad enough to warrant dumping. It seems there is a blind spot when it comes to accepting everything the company says as fact. One need look no further than Belize to see they have been inaccurate in rather self serving ways. Unfortunately, I can think of a lot of reasons (none good) why there may be so many shares suddenly trading - down. Up would be a much different story and the painting of the tape after 3:45pm Friday was not at all encouraging. Reminded me of a vampire leaving it's victim alive so it could come back for another meal.
