Hmmmm, I distinctly remember stating somewhere to treat it as dear old granny's life savings.. However, that seems to have disapeared.

Also, the contest intent was to provide some fun and humility. a "Real' site that allowed you to buy in and out woulkd be neat but unfair. Many people can't watch thier stocks all day and play the daytrader game and I for one am not about to program that type of site in my very short supply of spare time (spare time = an extra 10 minutes on the john in the morning reading the newspaper... I realize this is more than I needed to share but you get the point)
