WELCOME TO THE 2nd SI INTERNATIONAL STOCK PICKING CONTEST

This contest is for 3 months so even the best crystal ball is invalid.

Contest is open to anyone on SI. Since this is NOT an SI sponsored contest we can
not guarantee prizes but we always seem to find something for the winners and the
losers.

Standings can be checked daily at:

conda.com

1. Pick 5 stocks, (not 1,2,3 or 4) currently trading on the NYSE, ASE, NASDAQ, or
OTC BB. No Canadian Markets (Let's just stick with things traded in US dollars).

Include at least one optional stock in case there is a problem with one of your picks.

2. Stocks only, no options, warrants, etc. Everyone starts with $100,000 U.S., all
calculations are U.S. dollars. The money is split up equally, 20 grand per stock. No
stocks that are trading under $1.00 cents.

3. Take your position; Short or Long. NOTE: OTC stocks can not be shorted.

4. Contest runs from 10/1/98 until 12/31/98. Entries MUST be PUBLICLY posted on
this thread prior to the market open of 9/29/98 in order to give poor Forest time to
catalog.

5. All pricing is based on closing Bid/Ask. Initial shares are automatically calculated for
you.

6. If your stock is halted at the close of contest, you get a zero for that stock.

7. Most money made off the original $100,000 is the winner. Fractional shares (to 2
decimal points) for the 20

8. No penalty for spelling and grammar goofs. Flaming is optional for this contest

Good luck
