Hi Bernie, I own both VLSI and VTSS in my personal account. I've owned VLSI continuously since 1990. It's been a happier stock for me in the past, and is sort of in the middle of things right now. It's at about 2X its recent low and 1/2 its 52 week high!

I own enough of the stock now that any price movement is quite meaningful. I sold a token amount of shares when it rose to $13 a couple of weeks ago and am scheduled to off load some inventory when the price hits $14+, I believe.

Long term, I think VLSI is still a good company although Value Line's 3-5 year forcast on sales and book value growth is less than it was. They had it pegged for doubling sales and book value for a long time and now have reduced their estimates a bit. This may have to do with their overall view of the semi industry, but I'm not sure. I'm watching it carefully.

Best regards, Tom
