I don't like to trade against what I think is the pattern read.

Not that there isn't a chance for profit just that if the read is correct the greater profit and % odds are in the direction of the pattern.

In other words, if you can make 11 going up but 3 going down what's the sense considering the risk that the pattern will compress and going down will only play out for a few minutes like it did on that trade I had late yesterday.

Like they say in the books, "Don't fight the pattern", isn't that it?
