Yeah, I own land in NYS above Monticello, freakin' property values started to skyrocket a dozen years ago or less because people could hop a bus in Monticallo and get to Port Authority in an hour and a half. I hadn't been up that way in years and when I stopped in 2 years back the local rickety city, Callicoon, had transformed from an old farmer village to a yuppie paradise with a "resort" hotel nearby...Villa Roma. A regular NYC Italian sideshow. I'm told the place is chock full of New York Long Islanders with open shirts and gold chains. You know, singin' "On da 5th Day of Christmas, my Paison gave to me.....FIVE Pink-ie Rings!!!! 4 Fresh Canoli, all tree Godfadders, 2 howya doin's and a ride in his I-ROC Zeeee."
