Here's something puzzling I've been tracking down for the past several days.....PRWT's association with NRPI.... remember it was through RMC?... well in their latest press release....

In Miami NRPI has contracted with Encore Builders Inc. of Miami to build 15 units for immediate construction. The company estimates profits on these units to be in excess of $300,000 for the 15 units for an average profit of $20,000 per house. This profit is more than twice the profit of rehabilitating homes as NRPI has done in the past. The company's new focus is on providing the more lucrative new construction for the "first time homebuyers."

The company expects to build and sell a minimum of 100 houses in the Miami Market in the next 12 months.

As previously announced, the company has a loan commitment of $2,500,000 from Realty Mortgage Center Inc. for its real estate ventures.

and yet this money was promised to them in an August 14th PR...

NEW ORLEANS, LA. (Aug. 14) BUSINESS WIRE -Aug. 14, 1998--National
Rehab Properties Inc. (OTC BB:NRPI) Friday announced that it has received a $2.5 million loan commitment from Realty Money Center, Las Vegas, for the purchase and rehabilitation of homes.

just wondering what the hold up is... checked over on the NRPI thread and it seems that NRPI has YET to start their first home... I live in Georgia and have lived in South Florida...it takes 3-4 months to build a very nice home from start to finish in this climate. They've also changed direction from their original statements. Is this alliance between NRPI and RMC still alive?

and even more puzzling is that NRPI in their latest PR state that they will be using Encore Builders... this is the builder who was defunct in Florida until days earlier when he finally submitted his $900 registration fee.

Can somebody refresh my memory as to who the builders are who are constructing the pre-fab homes for PRWT to ship to Belize.... I sure hope it's not Encore....
