Okay guys and girls, now that we've established how to calculate the book value, can someone tell me how it should be used? I ask this because I thought it was the PE value that peolpe looked at when considering whether to invest in a company or not as well as other things! But what is the book value used for in terms of evaluating a company?? Thanks in advance! John
