Thxs Tom, I know this is the first step of many for me on this new game plan. Have felt for sometime that my portfolio was stagnant. It's reel easy to buy and twice as hard to sell, thought this system or a version thereof might discipline my future. I will be asking many questions. If I can get to the office I plan to review the thread, it's links, and download some software. A few basic questions. What online broker do most of you use? Which book should I read next? Do you interface your stock input directly to your spreadsheets or is it manual entry? I found a list of a dozen stocks that are responsible for half the S&P 500's gain for the year. Can someone tell me which ones lead the dow and the naz? That should get me started.
