No shares issued as of yet on any of the banks I mentioned all private mutual banks.
In particular Cambridge Savings, Middlesex Bank and Quincy Savings could be well worth the trip. When and if they go public they would be every bit as successful as FAB was. I bet you could open an account via the mail.

Have you heard that Compass has plans to IPO in the near future?
If so, I'm taking the trip to FR. I think I do recall seeing a branch before, I'm often up in the Westport area, so not too far off.
How long had you had an account open at FirstFed?
