Firstfed America Bancorp Inc. is the proposed holding Co. for First Federal Savings Bank of America. Today is the last day for interested investors (must meet certain Qualifications to be eligible) to buy at the IPO price of $10.00. This bank has about 20 branches throughout Mass and RI. After the conversion the stock will trade under the symbol FAB and schedualed to begin trading mid to end of January. I've taken a good position here and wondering if anyone else here is involved or has any thoughts as far as bank IPO's go. Ken in Ma.
