Hello DLL, Nice to see new faces in here :) I took a minute and ran SBUX through our PCA/AIM system for the period from 12/30/96 to 12/28/98 (downloaded from YAHOO!) Beginning price $30 Ending price $56.125 Results using 300 shares: PCA/AIM with 50% cash reserve: $10,326 profit Buy/Hold $ 7,838 profit PCA/AIM with 0 beginning cash reserve: $9,778 profit Buy/Hold $7,838 profit It seems that AIM would have done a fairly decent job managing SBUX over the past 2 years.
