Looking for patterns relating to a day like yesterday may prove to be a futile exercise as far as its predictive value -- but who knows. I was actually floored by what occurred yesterday -- enough to be off keel for a bit -- and that does not happen to me often. I guess the bizarre close Friday close should have been a forewarning of sorts. The draw-down that I took yesterday was rather heavy -- and the only saving grace was the fact that I was short the bonds and long the yen which helped quite a bit. I may look to re-enter on the long side if it pulls-back sufficiently and is acting right.
